III. Cookies
1 — Types of Cookies
- The ElettroKing site uses cookies to make the user's browsing experience easier and more intuitive: cookies are small text strings used to store certain information that may concern the user, their preferences or the device used to access the Internet (computer, tablet or mobile). They are mainly used to adapt the operation of the site to the user's expectations, offering a more personalised browsing experience and storing previously made choices.
- A cookie consists of a small set of data transferred to the user's browser by a web server, and can only be read by the server that made the transfer. It is not executable code and does not transmit viruses.
- Cookies do not record any personal information, and any identifiable data will not be stored. If desired, it is possible to prevent the saving of some or all cookies; however, in this case the use of the site and the services offered may be compromised. To proceed without changing the cookie options, simply continue browsing.
The types of cookies used by the site are listed below.
2 — Technical Cookies
- There are numerous technologies used to store information on the user's computer, which are then collected by sites. Among these, the best known and most widely used is that of HTML cookies. They are used for navigation and to facilitate the user's access to and use of the site. They are necessary for the transmission of communications over an electronic network, or for the provider to deliver the service requested by the customer.
- The settings to manage or disable cookies may vary depending on the internet browser used. In any case, the user can manage or request the general deactivation or deletion of cookies by changing the settings of their internet browser. Such deactivation may slow down or prevent access to some parts of the site.
- The use of technical cookies allows safe and efficient use of the site.
- Cookies inserted in the browser and retransmitted via Google Analytics, or via the statistics service of Blogger or similar, are technical only if used for the purpose of optimising the site directly by the owner of the site, who may collect information in aggregate form on the number of users and on how they visit the site. Under these conditions, the same rules regarding notice and consent provided for technical cookies apply to analytics cookies.
- In terms of duration, a distinction can be made between temporary session cookies, which are automatically deleted at the end of the browsing session and serve to identify the user (thus avoiding the need to log in on every page visited), and permanent cookies, which remain active on the PC until expiry or deletion by the user.
- Session cookies may be installed in order to allow access to, and remaining within, the reserved area of the portal as an authenticated user.
- They are not stored persistently but exclusively for the duration of the browsing session, until the browser is closed, and they disappear when it is closed. Their use is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers consisting of random numbers generated by the server, necessary to allow safe and efficient exploration of the site.
3 — Third-Party Cookies
- In relation to their origin, a distinction is made between cookies sent to the browser directly by the site being visited, and third-party cookies sent to the computer by other sites and not by the one being visited.
- Permanent cookies are often third-party cookies.
- Most third-party cookies consist of tracking cookies used to identify online behaviour, understand interests and thus personalise advertising offers for users.
- Analytical third-party cookies may be installed. They are sent by domains of the aforementioned third parties, external to the site.
- Analytical third-party cookies are used to gather information on user behaviour on ElettroKing. The collection is carried out anonymously, in order to monitor performance and improve the usability of the site. Third-party profiling cookies are used to create profiles relating to users, in order to offer advertising messages in line with the choices expressed by the users themselves.
- The use of these cookies is governed by the rules set by the third parties themselves; users are therefore invited to read the privacy notices and the instructions for managing or disabling cookies published on the relevant web pages.
4 — Profiling Cookies
- Profiling cookies are those that create profiles relating to the user, and are used to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user while browsing online.
- When these types of cookies are used, the user must give explicit consent.
- Article 22 of EU Regulation 2016/679 and article 122 of the Data Protection Code shall apply.

Such data are deemed to be voluntarily provided by the user at the time of the request for the service. By entering a comment or other information, the user expressly accepts the privacy notice and, in particular, consents to the content entered being freely disclosed, including to third parties. - The ElettroKing site therefore intends to inform the user of the existence:
- of the data subject's right to ask the controller for access to their personal data (art. 15 EU Regulation), their updating (art. 7, co. 3, lett. a) Legislative Decree 196/2003), rectification (art. 16 EU Regulation), integration (art. 7, co. 3, lett. a) Legislative Decree 196/2003) or restriction of the processing concerning them (art. 18 EU Regulation), or to object, for legitimate reasons, to their processing (art. 21 EU Regulation), in addition to the right to data portability (art. 20 EU Regulation);

- of the right to obtain confirmation that the operations of updating, rectification, integration of data, deletion, blocking of data and transformation have been brought to the attention — including as regards their content — of those to whom the data have been communicated or disclosed, except where this fulfilment proves impossible or involves a use of means manifestly disproportionate to the protected right (art. 7, co. 3, lett. c) Legislative Decree 196/2003).

The transfer is authorised and strictly regulated by article 45, paragraph 1 of EU Regulation 2016/679, so no further consent is required. The companies mentioned above guarantee their adherence to the Privacy Shield.
- Data will never be transferred to third countries that do not meet the conditions set out in article 45 et seq. of the EU Regulation.
VII. Security of the Data Provided
